Rising K-pop group EVNNE has officially released their highly anticipated fifth mini album, LOVE ANECDOTE(S), marking their second comeback of 2025. The release comes on the heels of the group’s rapidly expanding global influence, as their SET N GO tour prepares to move beyond Asia and Australia into the U.S. and Europe later this year.
Released under Jellyfish Entertainment on August 4, LOVE ANECDOTE(S) captures a more mature and refined side of the group while still retaining the energetic, mischievous spirit that has become synonymous with their image since debut. The album’s concept reflects EVNNE’s evolving perspective on love and youth, showcasing a stylish blend of confidence, wit, and emotional depth.
“We tried working on various genres to show how much we have matured so far through LOVE ANECDOTE(S),” shared member MUN JUNGHYUN. “I hope you give much love and support to the new side of EVNNE that hasn’t been shared yet!”
The mini album features six new tracks, including “dirtybop,” “Mako,” “love chat,” “PUT IT ON ME,” and “Newest.” The standout title track, “How Can I Do,” is a sleek hip-hop number that reflects EVNNE’s signature laid-back confidence. Lyrically playful and rhythmically compelling, the track taps into themes of flirtation and self-assured charm. Its accompanying music video highlights each member with a symbolic object, tying into the album’s central motif of youthful courtship.
A particular highlight is the album’s closing track, “Newest,” which carries special meaning for the group and their fans. EVNNE’s leader KEITA personally contributed to the writing of the song, ensuring that it encapsulates the group’s growth, unity, and artistic identity.
“I went through a lot of consideration in bringing each member’s sound and strengths when I was working on ‘Newest.’ Now, I’m very proud to showcase what kind of group EVNNE truly is with this track,” KEITA noted.
The release of LOVE ANECDOTE(S) marks a pivotal moment for EVNNE, who debuted just under two years ago and have since built a reputation for electrifying performances and a distinctive conceptual edge. Their previous mini album, HOT MESS, fueled their SET N GO tour, which began in Seoul in April 2025 and made stops across Asia and Australia, including Taipei, Melbourne, Osaka, Singapore, and Jakarta.
Following their promotional cycle for LOVE ANECDOTE(S), EVNNE is set to kick off the international leg of their tour, beginning in the United States on October 1 before heading to Europe starting October 22.
With LOVE ANECDOTE(S), EVNNE not only reinforces their reputation as a dynamic force in the K-pop scene but also sets the stage for a broader global breakout. As they prepare to meet fans across continents, the group seems poised for a defining chapter in their fast-rising career.
