Jibeen & Andy of ARrC on building real connection through K-pop; “It’s about sincerity and sharing our cultures”

en Bollywood News Jibeen & Andy of ARrC on building real connection through K-pop; “It’s about sincerity and sharing our cultures”

In the ever-expanding universe of K-pop, few rookie groups manage to establish not just a fanbase, but a philosophy as compelling as their music. ARrC — an acronym for “Always Remember the real Connection” — isn’t just a group name. It’s a declaration of purpose. And during a recent round table session with the multicultural band, it became clear that this connection they speak of isn’t marketing spin — it’s their identity.

For Jibeen, one of the most talked-about members of the group, the name ARrC carries a personal resonance. "To me, the name ARrC isn’t just a team name, but it holds meaning in connection and sincerity," he says. With Brazilian roots, Jibeen’s K-pop journey represents more than just a global success story — it's a homecoming. "As someone from Brazil, it’s really special to reconnect with fans from my hometown through K-pop. Being able to express my heart through singing and dancing in the same language on stage feels both incredible and deeply grateful. I want to show that we’re a team that can truly connect beyond nationality and language, heart to heart."

This sentiment of unity across cultures is more than a theme — it’s baked into the group’s very DNA. With members hailing from the United States, Vietnam, Brazil, Japan, and Korea, ARrC is a microcosm of global diversity. Andy, another member of the group, believes this multicultural composition is what gives them their edge.

"In that sense, our group contains people from America, Vietnam, Brazil, Japan, and Korea. I feel like it really helps us with being able to communicate with so many fans from all around the world, not just in Korea, because we have our own culture, heritage, and language we use," he explains. "We also try to incorporate that into our own music as well, so that we can be more unique, and other global fans understand our music and the message we want to tell around the world."

At a time when K-pop is no longer a niche but a global phenomenon, ARrC exemplifies how the genre continues to evolve — not just sonically, but philosophically. They're not just performing in different languages; they're creating a universal emotional language that transcends borders.

ARrC’s growing popularity in markets like Brazil, Southeast Asia, and North America isn’t accidental — it’s the result of authentic cultural synergy, intentional storytelling, and a deep respect for the diverse backgrounds that shape them.

With each performance, ARrC doesn’t just deliver music. They offer proof that connection — real connection — is not bound by geography or spoken word, but rooted in sincerity, creativity, and shared dreams. And as they rise, so too does the message at their core: always remember the real connection.
