Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer and key art for its upcoming action-drama series, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. A follow-up to the 2022 series The Terminal List, the new installment revisits the franchise’s world, focusing on Ben Edwards’ (Taylor Kitsch) transition from Navy SEAL to CIA operative. Dark Wolf is set to premiere with its first three episodes on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories. New episodes will be released weekly, with the season finale scheduled for Wednesday, September 24.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is co-created by Jack Carr, author of The Terminal List and a New York Times bestseller, along with Season One creator and showrunner David DiGilio. Serving as a prequel, the series traces the origin story of Ben Edwards, chronicling his path from Navy SEAL to operative within the CIA’s Special Operations. Blending elements of espionage and thriller, the show delves into the complexities of covert warfare and its personal toll. Chris Pratt also returns to the franchise, reprising his role as James Reece.
Like the first season of The Terminal List, Dark Wolf emphasizes authenticity, with military veterans involved as writers, actors, technical advisors, and executive producers. Their contributions help ensure the series presents the mindset, camaraderie, and moral challenges of Special Operations with a grounded and respectful approach.
The series also features a strong supporting cast, including Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Robert Wisdom as Jed Haverford, Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, Rona-Lee Shimon as Eliza Perash, Shiraz Tzarfati as Tal Varon, and Jared Shaw as Ernest "Boozer" Vickers, among others.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is executive produced by Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt (via Indivisible Productions), along with writer and showrunner David DiGilio, author Jack Carr, Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick (Hill District Media), former Army Ranger and writer Max Adams, and former Navy SEAL and technical advisor Jared Shaw. Frederick E.O. Toye, an Emmy-winning director (Shōgun), directed the pilot episode. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC, and Civic Center Media.
